Viet Duc Hospital in Hanoi was originally founded in 1904, and now has developed into the most important surgical hospital in the country. It has 1,400 patient beds and 30 operating theatres.
The new hospital will have significant outpatient facilities, 1,000 in-patient beds, and at least 40 operating theatres.
