Thursday, 5 pm from EANS Online, “Facial Reanimation-if you cannot smile after Neurosurgery”

Neurosurgical diseases and/or treatment often leads to cranial nerve problems. Facial paralysis is a dreadful complication, feared by patients and surgeons. When it happens, the neurosurgeon should be aware of the possibilities to help the patient, who can do it, and when this should happen. In this EANS-PNS webinar, we focus on basic anatomy, indications and surgical techniques for facial reanimation, with more than half the webinar allocated to “rapid fire” case presentations covering a wide range of pathologies and procedures.
