DAY 3: SCHEDULE

It gives us great pleasure to announce we will be broadcasting the  2^nd Dr DK Chhabra and Dr VK Jain annual neurosurgery oration and “Surgical neurooncology update” from th st 28^th Feb-1^st March, 2020 at SGPGIMS, Lucknow.

After a successful last meeting in 2019 themed on “Minimally invasive spine surgery”, the present meeting will focus on “Surgical Neurooncology”, a subspeciality that is rapidly gaining popularity in our country. The present meeting is aimed to provide an update in this field, the opportunities available and to take another look at some of the perennial controversies in this field. A number of international and national experts will come together for the academic deliberations.

This year, the orations will be delivered by Dr. Kiyoshi Saito, Chairman, Neurosurgery, Fukushima University, Fukushima, Japan and Dr. Anil Nanda, Chairman, Neurosurgery, Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, USA. In addition, we shall have with us Dr Manuel Cunha e Sa, Chairman, Neurosurgery, Hospital Garcia de Orta, Almada, Portugal as the key note speaker.

The scientific feast will comprise of live surgery demonstration by renowned national experts, hands on workshop on the adjuncts in neurosurgical oncology, video presentations and lectures by eminent international and national faculty member. Moreover, there will be an award paper session for the best selected abstracts concerning neurosurgical oncology and a forum for the younger neurosurgeons to showcase their work.
